As we grow, so do our opportunities. i-wireless, LLC is the private-label wireless service sold exclusively within the Kroger family of stores, and we have a new opening for an Application Specialist at our corporate headquarters in Newport, KY. The Application Specialist performs many roles and interacts with many different teams across one or several projects and related business systems. This position works hand-in-hand with business units, project managers, business analysts, infrastructure and management and is engaged in most phases of the project lifecycle. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring complete ownership via subject matter expertise (technical and functional) of the business systems in scope and interacting with business analysts and administrators to facilitate translation of business/functional requirements into technical solutions. If you have strong understanding of web service/APIs, demonstrated ability to perform in-depth business analytics and forecasting and working knowledge of SQL and database design, this could be the job for you! We are seeking people who have a BS/BA degree or upcoming graduation date, prefer 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, facilitation and/or process change management experience and also prefer someone with Wireless Telecommunications industry experience.
