SCHEDULE : First Shift - 7:00am-3:30pm OVERTIME : Required during busy season; shifts increase on average to 9-10 hours M-F and some Saturdays when we are busy PAY FREQUENCY: Bi-Weekly SUMMARY The Supervisor, Warehouse and Distribution is responsible for coordinating and directing the activities of front-line warehouse workers, managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy of orders, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution environment. • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND PRFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Strong leadership and management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory management software. • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours when necessary. • Ability and desire to grow in the position and accept more responsibility. • Ability to take initiative in providing new ideas to improve process efficiencies. • Ability to maintain consistent attendance, arriving on time and prepared for all shifts, meetings, and appointments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-line warehouse workers, including shipping and receiving, order picking and packing, and inventory management. Ensure all shipments are accurately packed and shipped on time and in compliance with customer requirements. Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels and timely delivery of products to customers Conduct regular cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and other inventory-related tasks to maintain inventory accuracy. Work with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled and delivered on time. Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Supervisor, Warehouse and Distribution 2 Train and mentor front-line workers to improve their skills and ensure their success. Monitor performance of workers and provide feedback and coaching to help them achieve their goals. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. On site attendance is an essential function of this position. WORKING CONDITIONS The essential functions of this job require the employee to perform the following physical activities: Regular use of PC, laptop, copier, fax, and other general office equipment. Able to lift, bend, stand, and stretch frequently throughout the day. Will need to lift 40 lbs. Ability to access all areas of the facility to perform essentials functions of the position.
