Davis & Floyd is seeking a Controller to join our team! We are a multi-disciplined firm that has been providing engineering services to our clients since 1954. This candidate will be responsible for the accounting operations of the firm, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. Responsibilities: • Participate in the development of and support of the company's strategic plans • Monitor the financial performance of the company • Compile and analyze financial reporting • Prepare annual budgets, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and related key performance indicators • Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with audit guidelines • Provide leadership, support, and active participation for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, including management and supervision of the accounting department • Collaborate with executives in administering compensation program • Oversee company's retirement plan • Works with external auditors and provides needed in formation for the annual audit • Provide miscellaneous support for all company personnel and customers as needed • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
