Volunteer Opportunity Description: Do you have the desire to positively contribute to someone's career journey? The Career & Job Services Division is seeking a Volunteer Coach with a background in either education or healthcare. The coach would be available by appointment only to talk with Northern Kentucky Accountability Group participants about career pathways in either field. The coach would be expected to share insights about various roles within the field, current industry pain points, education/experiences/credentials required for roles and suggestions on getting started.The Volunteer Coach would also review resumes and cover letters for participants trying to get jobs in either area and would be expected to offer expert tips and guidance.The volunteer should be willing to supply a photo, email, & background information for posting on the NKYAG Volunteer Coaches web site.For more information on the Career & Job Services Division and the Northern Kentucky Accountability Group, please visit our website at: https://www.kentonlibrary.org/careerandjobservices/ Qualifications: 8+ years professional experience in the fields of education or healthcare Skills needed for this Volunteer Opportunity: Ability to schedule and conduct meetings via Zoom or TEAMS, or in person at the Erlanger Library The ability to interact with program participants in a positive and constructive manner The ability to evaluate resumes and cover letters and provide helpful feedback Days and Hours Needed: Various, but all appointments based on coach's schedule Time Commitment is approximately 1-3 hours per month Job Posted by ApplicantPro
