Control all budgetary and schedule aspects of assigned projects. * Collect and assemble vendor information, in addition to leading the selection of equipment. Coordinate equipment procurement efforts with vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors. * Mentor junior staff. * Willingness and availability to travel as needed, both domestically and internationally, to support the project team in the delivery of products to our customers.Travel is estimated to be 20-50%.YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical, mechanical, process or chemical engineering or related field * 5+ years of experience with the design or operation of water treatment equipment involving ion exchange, filtration, boilers, cooling systems, heat exchangers, and/or automated control systems * Possess AutoCAD competence * Be eligible for Professional Registration (PE License preferred) * Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability to lead multi-discipline teams and motivate others * Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Able to work independently manage multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter, self-motivated) * Willingness and ability to travel as needed, estimated between 20-50% * Ability to complete and maintain HAZWOPER certification with the 40-hour HAZWOPER environmental health and safety class, and annual 8-hour refresher class.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
