Ephrata Area School District, Ephrata PA, is recruiting for the following Custodian 2nd Shift The Custodian will be able to perform essential duties to assist in the upkeep of the buildings throughout the district. Assist maintenance personnel in completion of work orders and assignments. Hours will be determined at time of hire. The custodian is a full-time, 12-month opportunity that offers a competitive hourly wage and participation in the district's medical/dental/vision insurance and retirement plans. The position requires the ability to bend, squat, lift and do repetitive actions. Must be able to work flexible hours or after hours as needed for emergency calls and snow removal. General Food Service Worker Part Time The General Food Service Worker will help in the preparation and serving of breakfast and lunch to the student body and staff in a sanitary, efficient and friendly manner. Position includes cashier, dishwashing, monitoring and cleaning duties. Schedules vary depending on building and assignment. Para Educator Part Time The Paraprofessional position will provide assistance to students with special needs, under the direction of certified staff while maintaining an orderly, safe and pleasant atmosphere by helping and supervising students in accordance with student IEPs, Board Policy and established district procedures Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, and the following criminal clearances obtained within the last 12 months are required to apply for this position: Act 34 PA Criminal Record; Act 151 PA Child Abuse; Act 114 FBI Criminal Background Check.
