Marketing Reports To: General Manager Summary: The Director Of Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing the entire marketing program for the shopping center that are based on the center s strategic goals: marketing for leasing, marketing for sales, increased foot traffic and marketing for additional revenue. Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for all Event Planning Coordination, set up and Execution. Generating additional income through the Sales of but not limited to Specialty Leasing, Kiosks, Marketing Events, Trade Shows, Entertainment Shows, Sponsorships, Advertising and Tourism. Collaborate with General Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive, strategic plan that directs marketing efforts by actively participating in the leasing process, driving sales and generating alternative revenue. Ensure that implementation of the Marketing plan is directed at achieving increased sales & revenue. Coordinating support for all mall events and sponsored tenant events and tradeshows. This includes activities such as providing on-site coordination/services for events; arranging for event materials; providing set up of events; provide on-site coordination for events; manage event calendar and solicit in-mall and outside sources for future events. Managing all logistical considerations for events to include logo placement, communications with vendors and event staff, marketing, coordination of set up and tear down of trade show or Event materials, etc. Job Description Director of Marketing Page 2 Manage all event requisitions and invoicing for payment to insure timely processing of invoices. Drive Sales by communicating and interacting with mall tenants on a regular basis; provide assistance to promote tenant sales on the Website, Social Media Newspaper & Radio Advertising, in mall advertising, reader boards, A-frame signs, etc. Responsible for the maintenance of shopping center website, Facebook and twitter accounts. Prospect local area in order to identify new and unique tenants for the Specialty Leasing. Preparation of, and adherence to, an annual marketing income and expense budget to include monitoring of annual budget. Ongoing leasing of the common area kiosks and temporary inline stores. Coordinate the setup, relocation and breakdown of all temporary tenant s . Responsible for the development, design, ordering and implementation of Mall advertising and signage to support marketing initiatives. Responsible for coordination, writing, publishing and distribution of the monthly tenant newsletter. Implement and execute email campaigns to nurture leads and customers. Develop strong and positive tenant relations to insure that the tenant business objectives are being met. Communicate new trends and products with tenants in order to grow current business or expand additional locations. Coordinate and work on tasks with General Manager. Performs other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent of on the job experience in Marketing, Management and Event Planning. Must have strong customer service and people skills. Strong computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop). Experience with or the ability to learn Website Development along with Web2.0 and Social Networks (Blog, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google +, Facebook, You Tube).
