We're a team of experienced professionals who understand the difference that excellent customer service can make.We are seeking a Legal Specialist reporting to the Vice President, Legal and Chief Compliance Officer while working extensively with Commercial, Operational and Financial functional team members, prepare and review various business and legal documents (internal and external) ensuring compliance with business objectives, company policies and statutory regulations. What you will do * Maintain in-house Intellectual Property database monitoring documentation required for renewal or filing of patents and trademarks. * Prepare first drafts of transactional documents based on established form documents, such as confidentiality, consulting, distribution, and supply agreements. * Enter contract information into contract management database and monitor compliance with obligations with other business unit stakeholders. * Perform word processing of legal documents, presentations, correspondence, memos, reports, tables, charts etc., as requested. * Provide general legal assistance to corporate attorneys as requested. What you will need * Bachelors degree required. * 5+ years of experience as a legal specialist or paralegal. * Medical Device company experience preferred. * Notary public license strongly preferred. * Strong expertise in corporate legal matters & business law principles. * Consistent attention to detail, meticulous and disciplined approach to documentation preparation, review, and filing. * Self-starter and ability to work independently with exceptional judgment skills while also demonstrating collaborative style dealing with business team members. * Ability to prioritize heavy workload and consistently meet deadlines. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Expertise in legal operation technology including contract management and electronic signature systems.
