Baylor Scott & White Rheumatology Fort Worth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Baylor Scott & White Rheumatology Clinic Team. Baylor Scott & White Rheumatology Fort Worth is a 2-physician outpatient practice. This practice commonly treats systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, sarcoid vasculitis gout and osteoarthritis fibromyalgia.The primary responsibilities are:* Evaluates and assesses new and follow-up patients in the office* Educates patientsSuccessful candidates a minimum of 1 year experience with direct patient care. This position requires a strong focus on patient care and service. Individuals who are self-motivated, hardworking, detail oriented, and adhere to clinical protocols are encouraged to apply.The ideal candidate for the Nurse Practitioner role maintains effective communication with patients, staff, and physicians; provides patient care in a competent, professional, and courteous manner; and keeps abreast of current research and incorporates relevant findings into specific areas of clinical practice. Shift/Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Nurse Practitioner is a licensed, certified, non-physician healthcare provider who actively renders direct patient care and possesses delegated prescriptive authority, is credentialed and privileged, and whose service is billed as an independent billing provider, as recognized by Medicare and Medicaid within the healthcare systems, and in accordance with the appropriate board.
