What You Will Do The EHS Specialist is responsible for supporting the Guelph EHS team in ergonomics, industrial hygiene, hazardous & non-hazardous waste, LOTO programs. This position will also have the opportunity to work for Guelph manufacturing site sustainability targets & KPI monitoring. EHS specialist will partner with local and regional functions of the organization in ensuring safe work practices and achieving site EHS goals. Key Responsibilities • Carrying out Ergonomic backssments for existing & new processes and incorporating best practices for new equipment design and normal operations. • Support the site Occupational Health Nurse and Wellness team in case management by providing key input. • Manage the site Hazardous & non-hazardous waste program by monitoring, reporting and training. • Support site's industrial hygiene program by timely coordinating sampling/testing of chemical agents and ingredients to mitigate exposure risks. • Work with site safety committees to engage members and maintain.
