Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) RETENTION BONUS Dependable Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a compassionate and hardworking Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Hospice RN, you will provide specialized care and support to patients and their families during end-of-life journeys. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans for patients in a comfortable and supportive environment. Our organization offers a Retention Bonus for qualified candidates. $10,000.00 Retention Bonus Robust benefits package Supportive and compassionate management team Flexible scheduling Mileage compensation RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide expert care and support to hospice patients and their families in consultation with interdisciplinary teams- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians- Monitor and document patient progress, and make any necessary adjustments to care plans- Educate patients and families on how to cope with end-of-life issues and facilitate discussions about advance directives- Evaluate and manage symptoms such as pain, anxiety, nausea, and shortness of breath- Collaborate with social workers, chaplains, and other team members to create safe and effective care plans- Provide emotional support to patients and families as they navigate the end-of-life process- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospice care regulations and best practices- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with team members- Complete documentation and billing in a timely and accurate manner- Participate in on-call rotation as necessary JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Valid and current RN license- Minimum of 1-year nursing experience in hospice or palliative care preferred- Knowledge of hospice care regulations and best practices- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to provide compassionate and supportive care to patients and families- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation- Ability to complete documentation and billing in a timely and accurate manner EDUCATION: - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution- Current RN licenseWe offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off.
