The Dyersburg, TN manufacturing facility has a great opportunity for an experienced manufacturing supervisor (Team Leader). Team Leaders are key contributors to NSK's success by overseeing and executing the daily activities required to meet all expectations of safety, quality and production goals/targets. Work is centered around training associates, planning, assigning, directing and executing work, assisting with appraising performance, promoting compliance, investigating complaints, resolving problems, time keeping and facilitating communication. Responsibilities * Accomplishes line/shift Key Performance Goals/Indicators by supervising associates and organizing and monitoring work processes. * Implements and enforces systems, policies, and procedures. * Prioritization and facilitation of improvement activities and team building. * Maintains headcount by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities. * Accomplishes associate job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. * Plans, monitors, and appraises job results. * Assure safety in the workplace, practices and housekeeping; investigate and correct near misses and accidents * Facilitate problem solving activities.
