Summary: Work directly with juvenile offenders between the ages of 11-17 whom are living in our new Bronx group home while awaiting court adjudication. Under the supervision of the Site Director and Shift Supervisor, the Youth Specialist I will provide exceptional quality services to the residents. Responsibilities: Managing residents° behavior with the end goal teaching the youth to make positive and lasting changes in their behaviors Maintaining the safety and security of all residents and upholding the rules and principles of the home. Ensuring that all residents maintain proper hygiene, physical activity, nutrition, wellness, and daily activities. Skills/Requirements: High-school degree or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) Valid NYS Driver°s License heavily preferred Prior background with group home population preferred Compensation: $12.25/hr (non-negotiable); Overtime eligible It is the policy of Episcopal Social Services of New York that the Agency wholly complies with the equal
