Youth Mentors Logan, UT Day Shift, FT Do you love working with youth? At LRA, we're committed to providing quality care and mentoring for youth with Autism and other mental health disorders. Logan River Academy is looking for entry-level or experienced individuals who have a passion for helping others and making a difference in the lives of others to join our team. Logan River Academy is a residential treatment center and fully accredited school for adolescent youth from ages 12-18. We help students struggling with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues including: autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, oppositional behavior, bipolar disorder, PTSD, substance abuse, depression, ADHD, impulse control, peer pressure, anger management, self-esteem, grief/loss issues, family relationships, communication, academic struggles, or other setbacks in their life. Our mission is to provide support and structure to help these students make good choices, be successful, and receive the academic and therapeutic help that they may need. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Providing direct care and supervision to clients struggling with psychological and mental disorders One-on-one mentoring to help clients develop coping and life skills Assisting in transporting students to local appointments and activities as needed. Following procedures and instructions, both written and verbal Participate in treatment teams to evaluate clients' treatment plans and suggest ways to improve care Maintain the highest standard of ethics, and confidentiality Requirements: Must be 20 years old Energetic Patient and Compassionate Be able to pass an FBI Rap Back Background Check Physically able to respond quickly from any position, walk quickly or jog short distances, stand on feet for a minimum of 15 minutes, and lift up 50 pounds FT Day Shift Options: Typical Shift is M-F 6:50-3:00 pm
