Position Summary Salary $26.80 - $31.88 hourly upon meeting progression requirements. Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills This position requires a minimum of a high school education and two years of experience in a chemistry, electrical, electronics, or industrial-related occupation, or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Some knowledge of materials, tools, and equipment, occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Must provide own hand tools. Desired Qualifications Associate degree in chemistry, electronics, or a science-related field of study. General understanding of power generation facilities and processes. Experience collecting samples and performing lab chemistry analysis, setting up, testing, are repairing industrial analyzers, transmitters and associated equipment. The ideal candidate is results-oriented with strong oral and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and good customer relations/service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and within a team. Understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions in an industrial environment, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and in climates with noise and temperature extremes.
