Marie, ON, the Water Engineering Co-op will: Assist in the preparation of engineering designs and work orders for capital works, system extensions, maintenance, operations, or replacement Assist with development and review of drawings and specifications for construction to meet regulatory requirements Ensure work is in compliance with regulatory requirements and legislation Assist with the preparation of contracts for tender as well as supporting contractor management duties Provide technical support pertaining to drinking-water systems including: the establishment and maintenance of distribution standards, water system studies, water servicing, and water distribution and treatment system design Assist in the planning and design for long term sustainability and reliability of the drinking-water system Research company records to verify infrastructure details Assist with assembling and analyzing budgets and project costs Assist with verifying bills of materials and monitoring the availability of materials and recommending appropriate new materials and equipment as required Contribute to innovative solutions towards technological advancements for our customers Provide quality services to our customers in a safe, and efficient manner Contribute to leveraging technology to digitize processes Review and recommend opportunities to implement new technologies Please note that this job description.
