Due to progression, our national client seek an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to work from their busy site in Filton, Bristol. Overview: To manage the Warehouse staff about 10 and processes in line with company policies which contribute to the growth and profitability of the business. To develop best practice with all staff to achieve the highest standards of customer service and raise the profile of the department. To support the branding department by providing personnel and services as and when required. Duties: Vision and Leadership – Provide direction and leadership for the Warehouse team consistent with the objectives for the Company. Provide support to the sales and purchasing teams, communicating a clear direction in line with company policies. Maintain a proactive approach to the role through delegation and empowerment. People and Values – Place health and safety and environmentally responsible behaviour at the top of the agenda and promote the highest standards of business ethics and compliance with corporate requirements. Performance Management – ensure that the teams have a clear understanding of what is expected of them in terms of performance and delivery, which is commensurate with, and supportive of, the business objectives for the business as a whole.
