A growing and well: established business is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join the team at its 60,000 sq. ft. state: of: the: art manufacturing facility in Somerset. Wherever possible, raw materials are purchased locally, and they are proud to say they are the UK's leading manufacturer of laparoscopic instruments and devices. As Warehouse Manager, your responsibilities will include: : Managing two Warehouses 7 miles apart, one on the manufacturing site for components and one off: site for finished goods : Managing a team of 10:11 warehouse staff : Taking primary responsibility for transport between the two and scheduling of deliveries and collections from our sterilisation partners : Health and Safety of warehouse operations and transport : e. g. LOLER : Ensuring all training is up to date : e. g. FLT licences : Liaising with the purchasing team to organise incoming receipts : Overseeing the picking of works orders (components) for production : Overseeing the picking of sales orders for dispatch : Troubleshooting any stock discrepancies : Closely working with planning, production, and customer services : Managing site waste : Recruiting staff We are looking for a Warehouse Manager who has the following skills and experience: : IT skilled : Microsoft and used to working with Warehouse Systems : To be a skilled manager with the ability to take over a mature team and to further develop them : Flexible, some outside normal hours working necessary due to late deliveries, collections, stock taking etc : this isn't much but does happen : Health and Safety training would be an advantage for this role as Warehouse Manager, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV.
