We have two main divisions: Memory: This division creates memory products that are used in computers, mobile phones, cameras, gaming devices, industrial applications, and more. LED Lighting: This division creates LED lighting products for homes, offices, schools, shops, warehouses and more. The Role: To manage the daily running of a busy warehouse, being responsible for all the staff on site, ensure the correct and timely picking, packing and shipment of all UK and International shipments and for the site security and all aspects of Health and Safety. Responsibilities: Key Accountabilities Ensure the safe working practices on all machines within the business Responsible for product checking and quality inspection Receiving and identifying products Creating accurate documentation where necessary Ensuring correct labelling and security sealing Ensure efficient goods in, pick/ pack and dispatch. Dispatch of UK and International packages Move and manage stock lines to most efficient locations. Staff Management Recruit and manage the staff. Keep staff levels at most cost effective levels whilst ensuring good efficiency and productivity of goods dispatched Responsible for staff rotas, overtime, lateness, sickness, holidays Deal with any employee relations issues including disciplinary and grievance processes Train staff on systems and procedures Carry out inductions and training as and when required Check training certifications and ensure they are up to date, e. g. first aid and fork lift etc. Motivation and allocation of staff within the department Ensure information given to staff is accurate.
