About us Our teams are putting the world's retailers online using the cloud, robotics, AI, and Io T. We provide services to partner clients globally via our innovative advanced robotics technology, known as the Ocado Smart Platform ('OSP'), this drives our highly automated, multi-million pound Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs). In our CFCs - together with the proprietary software applications - we operate a world-class online grocery business that automates the single pick of products, ready for your online delivery. About the role We are looking for a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Area Manager at our new Customer Fulfilment Center (CFC) in Bicester. You will be managing the performance of designated operating areas within the CFC, whilst working closely with multiple departments to achieve site targets. You will be part of a tiered management team reporting to Shift/Operation managers and will be key in shaping and delivering an outstanding employee experience for your teams and will encourage self improvement, training and development. Following a shift pattern working any 4 out of 7 shifts (including weekends) in an operational 24/7 environment. Shifts are 12 hours in length and your start time will vary depending on the area in which you are working. About you The ideal candidate will be working with our 5 Pillars - Safety, People, Customer, Delivery and Cost. You would have previous management experience in the warehouse /logistics environment and have knowledge of Health and Safety and Food safety compliance. You have strong verbal, written and numeracy skills and can use your Microsoft skills to interpret data and have demonstrable problem solving skills... Visit ListedBuy for more information.
