We support the North Northamptonshire residents as well as lead on Countywide Projects to reduce isolation amongst the Older Person's population. About the Role: The role of the volunteer recruitment officer is to recruit and train volunteers to become drivers for Community Transport for SERVE and our partner organisations across Northamptonshire. The role will be between Rushden & Towcester Offices and in the Community of Northamptonshire The role is Monday to Friday - 8.30AM TO 4.30PMThere are two roles available for this position. Key responsibilities: To actively recruit and train volunteers for the Community Transport providers across Northamptonshire Actively promote Community Transport volunteering opportunities across Northamptonshire using a wide range of methods Develop role descriptions liaising with the partners Provide Inductions/Training to prospective volunteers to be signposted to partner organisations Ensure volunteers are taken through the DBS process, references are provided and followed up Contribute, maintain and monitor the new online platform with regards to volunteering applications, responding in a timely manner Ensure the volunteering experience is consistently positive, support volunteers by creating a welcoming, professional environment that encourages them to give their best Liaise with partners ensuring volunteers undertake any mandatory training as part of their induction Support partners to ensure record keeping and paperwork is accurate, up to date and stored in accordance with data protection legislation Maintain.
