The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager - Patient Care, the incumbent is responsible for: Patient care - performs patient backssment and vascular testing of referred patients. Patient and family education. Research and quality control. Experience Minimum of 2 years recent medical/surgical nursing experience required. Ambulatory care experience an asset. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing or Licensed Practical Nursing education program required. Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) training an asset. Credential of Certification/ Document of Achievement in Foot Care. Certification/Licensure/Registration Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) or with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM). Active participation in professional associations e. g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the applicable policy.
