ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead a user-centered design function at Covr with an emphasis on the company's digital insurance platform. Work collaboratively across company functions to define user experience through design artifacts that include customer journey maps, participatory design prototypes and wireframes. Establish a clear view of competition, best practices and trends to ensure Covr is consistently viewed as a leader. Consult with Covr's clients and strategic partners to align on user needs and issues. Collaborate closely with technology and engineering to guide the road map for Covr's digital platform. JOB SPECIFICATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: 5+ years of experience in experience design and graphic /visual development required BFA or BA in related field, graduate design degree preferred Knowledge and Skills: Ability to synthesize complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs Effective communication of design solutions across roles and levels Awareness and practical understanding of current technologies and their application and relevance to digital experiences Proven understanding of responsive web and mobile application design and wireframe development Solid communication and interpersonal skills Ability to influence others and provide thought leadership on design Flexibility - ability to change direction based on team and stakeholder input BENEFITS PACKAGE: We offer a competitive benefits package: Salary range $90,000 to $105,000 annual base with a 10% incentive bonus Paid Time Off (PTO): 3 weeks to start increasing with years of service Paid holiday’s – 11 days Medical, Dental and Vision – 80% of monthly premium paid by Covr for all full-time employees Adult and child orthodontia Health Savings Account (HSA) with quarterly company contributions Short-Term and Long-Term Disability NEW - Pet insurance for cats and dogs! 401(k) with company match Company paid Life and AD&D insurance for all full-time employees.
