Union Payroll Accountant

Wayne Crouse, Inc., a Pittsburgh, PA based mechanical contracting/engineering firm, in business for more than 90 years, is seeking an Accountant, who is both motivated and willing to learn, in an extremely fast paced environment.What you will do: Complete weekly payroll entries for Union field employees Process payroll checks/direct deposits Make appropriate funding transfers to payroll accounts Make weekly/monthly payroll liability payments File weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual payroll tax reports Process monthly union reports Process year end W-2/W-3 documents Generate certified payroll reports as required Collect and maintain required certified payroll reports from subcontractors as required Process/respond to unemployment requests E-Verify/PA New Hire all new employees Track outstanding payments for Accounts Receivable Assist with processing invoices for Accounts Payable Backup support for incoming calls Other duties as may be assigned To the qualified candidate we offer: Salary commensurate with experience Health, dental, and vision benefits 401K plan with company contribution Vacation and sick time Interested candidates should forward their resume to Cara Fulton at XXXX@waynecrouse.com ."Equal Opportunity Employer," "Veterans & Disabilities"
