Service Care Solution have a temporary vacancy for a Tree and Hedgerow Officer for a local authority based in Yorkshire. Working as a Tree and Hedgerow Officer, the role will be to provide a comprehensive advisory and regulatory service regarding trees, hedgerows and associated landscape planning matters from development management process to policy, pre-application, planning application, discharge of conditions and monitoring/enforcement. Working as a Tree and Hedgerow Officer, the role will be to provide a comprehensive advisory and regulatory service regarding trees, hedgerows and associated landscape planning matters from development management process to policy, pre-application, planning application, discharge of conditions and monitoring/enforcement. Main duties will consist of: Support the provision of specialist input into all aspects of the Development Plan making process, and advise on planning policy matters relating to trees and hedgerows. Provide trees and hedgerow advise to colleagues and developers on developments where necessary while working with developers in achieving high quality developments to enhance the natural environment. Be responsible for caseload of tress and hedgerow matters including: drafting reports and site visits, risk backssments and evaluations. Keep up to date with legislation, strategies, plans and policies relating to the trees and hedgerows. We are seeking candidates who have previous experience in a similar role with a recognised arboriculture qualification. You will ideally hold a Full UK Driving License as this job is mobile and will require driving to different sites to carry out checks. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
