The qualified applicant would be responsible for the sale of the companys laboratory and capital equipment products and services through direct sales and alternative sale channel management. The position would be required to call on prospective customers and provide technical product details as well application support. The job mandates a high-level of selling and presentations skills to research scientists, lab managers, facilities engineers, material managers, architects, engineers and others involved in specifying equipment for new lab projects. The position will have a territory as well as manage entry level sales support positions that will focus on lead generation as well as management and growth of 3rd party channels streams. A sales quota and target units sales is required and familiarity working in a high paced environment is desired.VWS offers a competitive pay and benefits package, along with a dynamic workplace environment. EOE/AA-M/F/D/V Successful applicants will have:· Life Science, Chemistry or Engineering degree or equivalent required.· Min of 3yrs sales background within LAB market segments preferred.· Capital equipment sales and distribution support sales background is preferred, but not required.· Applicants should possess strong verbal and written correspondence abilities in addition to computer literacy.
