Technical SpecialistBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Technical Specialist for an opportunity in Raleigh, NC 27610 Position Title: Technical SpecialistLocation: Raleigh, NC 27610 Anticipated Start Date: ASAPPlease note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 6 to 12 Months contract Job Type: Mon - Friday 40.00 Hours Per Week, Onsite Pay Range: [$53.00- [$53.50]Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Job Description: ***The candidate will be allowed to work remotely until all staff return to site. At that point the candidate will be required to come onsite. The candidate will need to come onsite the first day for training.** Remote work for contractors is at the discretion of management and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.Proactively promotes positive customer relationships and mentors othersto ensure client satisfaction and organizational success. Takes ownership ofcustomer problems and works with a sense of urgency to resolve incidents andproblems. Provides updates on work progress to the customer and others usingcall tracking system. Has significant technical knowledge and serves as aresource for others to help solve complex problems. Skilled in different typesof computer hardware software peripherals and components networkingprotocols and communications. Stays abreast of current technology in a changingenvironment. Identifies emerging trends and issues researches and makessuggestions for technical solutions to solve current and future problems. Usesextensive knowledge to develop and/or implement information technologysolutions to enhance organizational success. Works with Data Center Operationswith user file server data storage network reservations data restoresvarious account creations and modifications AD email CITRIX etc..Works with application development teams to identify application issues at thecustomer level and provide technical detail in order for development teams toaccurately identify problems within applications. Works with networkinfrastructure teams to identify network issues at the customer level andprovide significant technical detail to assist in network hardware resolutions.Project Management - Ability to lead projects that require directing the work of others and with some latitude on actions or decisions. Leads team efforts and assesses and integrates the skills and strengths of individuals for project and organizational success. Provides status on project work to management.Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for all responsible areas -This position is responsible for creating and maintaining all documentation of process and procedures for all areas this position is responsible for. This documentation is to be used by team members for operational standards of daily work. This documentation will also be used in accordance with Operational Level Agreements IT internal and Service Level Agreements IT external.
