Having locations across the UK and being part of a global group who are market leaders in their field, our client specialises in the design and manufacture of products for the road and rail network. Having conducted significant testing, development and trials, they are now seeking an experienced design and installation engineer to promote their newly developed range of safety: focussed systems and accessories across the UK. Applicants must have extensive installation and maintenance experience, together with product design understanding. A sound knowledge and influence of Distribution Network Operators is an absolute must for this role, as with the ability to travel across the UK and Ireland. Position: Technical Sales Engineer Location: Hybrid working : UK based Salary: up to GBP 65,000Benefits: 20 : 25 performance related bonus, company car or car allowance, company pensionscheme, 3x death in service, private healthcare and company share scheme. Holiday entitlement TBC. Requirements: : A sound knowledge and influence of Distribution Network Operators : essential. : Experience working with power distribution providers : essential. : Must be proactive and resilient. : Respond quickly and adapt. : Willingness to learn and evolve. : Able to work autonomously and be fully accountable. : Must be a hunter with a can do attitude. : Exceptional interpersonal skills with all stakeholders. : Clear communicator. : Technically minded and commercially astute. : Able to work flexibly. : Strive for the highest standards. Experience/Qualifications: : Degree level qualifications are not required, however an engineering or technical background would be highly advantageous. : Experience is key; must have a strong understanding of the sector in which the products will be promoted; DNO's, power distribution sector etc. : Must have time spent networking in this sector.
