Contract type: Part-time (18.75 hours per week), fixed term 13/12/2025 Location: Royal Holloway International Study Centre Salary: Up to £18,500 per annum, pro rata (£37,000 per annum FTE)The International Study Centre is dedicated to providing the best teaching learning and backssment to meet the individual needs of students. The primary objective of this role is to secure deliberate enhancements to the learning opportunities for our students to achieve the best possible student outcomes and experience. This will be done through developing dynamic learning, teaching and backssment and striving for excellence. The role of the Advanced Practitioner (Teaching and E-Learning) is aimed at providing our curriculum team with support, coaching and professional development. The role requires the individual to be flexible, as well as a team player, as this a multifaceted role with multiple stakeholders. They will work with the Head of Quality Assurance and Innovation to support the enhancement of learning and teaching across the Centre. They will train and coach teachers, as well as support them with their development of their classroom teaching, as well as learning technology skills, with the specific aims of enhancing the learning and teaching in the centre, increasing student engagement and advancing student outcomes. ABOUT THE ROLE To identify e-learning training needs and bring to the attention of the Head of Quality Assurance and Innovation (Ho QI) and the Head of Curriculum and Progression (Ho CP) at centre level and at network level as appropriate To support the Ho QI with the delivery of the Centre Staff Development Plan. To keep abreast of, seek out new ideas, and disseminate best practice related to learning, teaching and backssment which includes emerging educational technologies.
