More about NEEA NEEA is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Summary The Talent Acquisition Specialist executes NEEA’s Talent Acquisition program. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, interview coordination, and hiring top talent for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the recruitment process and the ability to identify the best candidates for our open positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the VP of People & Culture. NEEA has flexibility between 32-40 hours per week. This position is based in the Portland, OR metro area with a minimum of 2-days work onsite at NEEA’s office location. Finalists must have eligibility to work in the US as NEEA is not able to provide VISA sponsorship or have remote work outside of the US. If you answered yes to these questions, please read on to learn more: The Typical Day May Include… Meeting with hiring managers to discuss open positions and formulate a recruiting plan. Gather information on positions, route requisition approvals, and maintain documentation. Post positions to job boards and other sources appropriate for position openings. Review application materials and flag potential applicants for hiring managers to review. Conduct phone interviews and leverage NEEA’s ATS accordingly. Schedule interviews at all stages of the hiring process. What Are You Good At? Developing long lasting business relationships. A knack for identifying talent especially from different industries. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds and styles. You are motivated by NEEA’s mission to transform the market for energy efficiency to the benefit of consumers in the Northwest. Able to speak and write clearly and persuasively. Listen and get clarification to resolve ambiguity. Present information, ideas and data effectively. Demonstrated ability in stakeholder relations and customer service, effective teaming, innovation, results orientation, resiliency, and accountability. You Likely Have The Following: Exceptional communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally both internally with work teams and managers, as well as externally with candidates, and market partners. Project management experience with the ability to prioritize and change gears when appropriate. Desire to share and work for a common purpose that has economic and societal benefits. Ability to see beyond what is on paper and how skills and experiences might be transferable to energy efficiency. Your Education, Experience, and Skills: Minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development required. PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred. An equivalent combination of education, experience and training that would provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the successful performance of the essential job duties will also be considered.
