The team at Workforce Solutions has the privilege of providing HR consulting and recruiting services to business owners, fellow HR professionals, or anyone that just doesn't have the resources to fully execute their HR strategy. From compliance to recruiting and everything in between, we partner with businesses to keep their people strategy on track. As an affiliate in the MBE CPAs family of companies, we also provide full HR support to the 200 employees across 11 offices in the MBE family of companies. What would my day look like? The Talent Acquisition Specialist role will focus their energies on providing recruiting support to our clients. An ideal candidate has strong people skills, good judgement, can think outside of the box to source talent, and has ability to "sell" the opportunity to interested candidates. Preferably this role will work out of our Baraboo office with the rest of the WFS team, but we are open to high caliber talent working a remote, hybrid, or onsite schedule at any of our office locations. This role has excellent potential for growth and upward mobility within the Workforce Solutions affiliate. Tasks will includes: Responsible for executing full cycle recruiting for WFS clients from development of candidate profile and job description through keeping new hire engaged through their start date. Managing job postings on various websites leveraging social media, job boards, and digital ads to source active and passive candidates. Actively sourcing passive candidates; finds creative solutions to attract and source talent. Proactively building and managing a candidate pool for current and future job openings. Working in WFS's applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage requisitions and applicants. Creating and consistently reporting out on recruiting analytics. Reviewing and screening applicants and resumes. Scheduling and completing phone screens and interviews. Attending job fairs and related events to source talent. Actively involved in campus recruitment efforts and attending campus events. Proactively building network within communities, key schools and universities, local organizations, and professional groups to build WFS's brand and leverage connections to find talent. Actively build and promote employer brand of the MBE affiliate group and clients. Act as brand ambassador for WFS including cross selling additional WFS services to clients. Providing superior customer service and support to WFS clients and the MBE team. Handling all tasks with the utmost confidentiality and with an understanding of employment law and regulations. Assisting with other duties associated with WFS, Payroll Solutions, and the other MBE affiliates as needed to support the team and our clients. What experience and skills do I need to be successful? While we are hoping to find a seasoned recruiter, we are willing to train candidates in the earlier stages of their career with the right attitude and instincts. Here are some skills we'd love to see on your resume: Ability to provide the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism in role. Comfortable working daily on the computer including in HRIS software, ATS, and Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with candidates and clients on the phone, via email, and in person. Previous experience in a talent acquisition and/or sourcing role. Previous experience working within an ATS, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and related talent acquisition platforms. Developed knowledge of employment law and regulations as they relate to hiring desired. Associates or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field a plus. Experience working in the isolved ATS or payroll system a plus. Experience sourcing or recruiting within the CPA firm industry a huge plus. What will my schedule look like? MBE and its affiliates are a strong supporter of family and work-life balance. While this role needs to be available for client and internal team needs during office hours 8a-5p Monday through Friday, we also understand that interviews, phone screens, and meet ups to source talent and build connections may take place outside of typical office hours. We are more focused on results than a strict schedule, particularly due to the nature of this role.
