Overview: The client I am working with is an international construction and engineering company that are taking a sustainability approach to maximize sustainable construction and minimize the environmental effect of projects on society. This approach is rooted in the recognition that active engagement in social progress, environmental protection and economic balance is necessary for long term development. They are seeking an experienced Sustainability adviser to join their team, based out of the St Albans/ Hertfordshire office and willing to travel frequently around the south of the UK. Role Responsibilities: As the sustainability advisor, you will be responsible for providing sustainability and environmental advice to project teams including delivery of appropriate training. You will carry out site inspections, maintain environmental compliance and provide assistant with external audits. A successful candidate will have: 2-3 years experience working in a sustainability role in the construction sector Full drivers license Excellent communication and engagement skills Experience developing sustainability management reports Next Steps: If you are an ambitious individual; this role will offer you the autonomy to make a real difference!
