Lead Mental Health Support Worker - 8 Month Secondment Opportunity Farnborough Contract, Full Time (37.5 hpw) covering an 8 week rolling rota and sleep ins Pay £12.61 per hour (£24,664 per annum) plus sleep in enhancement and great benefits including Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong Want to be part of a team that really cares and empowers you to help change a customer’s life for the better? As one of our Lead Support Workers, you’ll be at the heart of supporting our customers who have complex mental health needs to develop their skills to live more independently in the community. You’ll make a big difference each day as you help our customers achieve their hopes and aspirations. Amazing we know! Our service is very easy to reach either by car or public transport as there is a bus stop right outside. Local shops are within walking distance and there is parking on site free of charge! Typical day as a Lead Support Worker (known by us as Coordinator) Creating support plans with your customers and supporting them to achieve their aspirations. Supporting customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining their tenancy and moving onto independent accommodation if they are able. Carrying out risk backssments, support planning, goal setting and regular reviews. Cuppas, chats and catch ups. There’s no rushing from one customer to the next here!
