A s a Service Desk Support A n al y s t, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over various channels and will assist in walking the customer through the problem-solving process. A Day in the Life The successful candidate will: Provide first response, initial triage and troubleshooting for all support items received through all channels - phone, email, ticket system/web portal in line with defined service metrics, SLA's and OLA's Apply customer service methodologies and best practices Ensure incoming tickets are accurately captured as either break/fix or service requests Ensure accuracy in backssed impact and urgency of an incident or support request to determine priority Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques, pertinent questions and all relevant available resources Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by the customer Provide basic " how-to" training to end users As needed, escalate, or reassign tickets to appropriate resources with complete documentation of all actions and steps taken in any attempt to resolve Process and prioritize a high volume of work with accuracy and efficiency Work with a variety of customers at all levels Contribute to an IT knowledge database Consult with and coordinate activities of team members that you may have no direct authority over Timely management of own schedule Your Resume Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computer Science - Computer Science from a college or recognized technical institute 1 -3 years' experience in IT Level 1 support Excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills and the ability to empathize with customers,.
