About The Opportunity: You will be responsible for leading a cohort of 15-20 at-risk youth, ideally throughout their high school experience starting in Grade 8 until Grade 12 graduation. The Youth Leader is to provide guidance and mentorship while instructing/coordinating student-focused curriculum activities for each year. Some of these activities include recreational, outdoor, land-based, tutorial, cultural, and experiential programming. It is expected that the incumbent will follow the policies and procedures of the STRIVE program as outlined and agreed to by the Steering Committee and enforce and implement the STRIVE Youth Code of Conduct.
