Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Area Dietitian or Designate, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface General Hospital, the STORES ATTENDANT - STORES is responsible for: organizing and maintaining stock rotation; carrying or transporting supplies to designated areas; filling supply requisitions and delivering to designated areas; organizing and maintaining storage areas in a neat and clean condition; and performing other related duties as assigned. Experience Six (6) months experience in a food services area. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 10. Qualifications and Skills Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good personal cleanliness. Ability to work accurately. Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature. A RESUME IS REQUIRED WHEN APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move heavy objects. Ability to adjust to extreme changes in temperature for short periods of time throughout the day. Ability and willingness to work in extreme cold and crowded conditions for long periods of time.
