About the role We are looking for a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Area Manager to work nights for our Stock Availability Team (SAT) at our Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) in Erith; Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Stock availability team, which consists of 4 Area Managers, 4 Deputy Area Managers and a team of stock availability team members. As well as providing motivation & driving excellence in all that we do it is down to the Stock Availability Area Managers to effectively assist the Operations Manager to plan resources, in line with budgets and business objectives. The Stock availability Area Manager is accountable to the Operations Manager for their teams & their own performance. The role also includes managing the performance of the SAT in an efficient and professional manner, ensuring all targets are met without loss in performance to the business and within the site management structure. As an Area Manager you will help lead the daily running of site operations with responsibilities relating to all aspects of site safety and quality of service, delivering operational targets within the agreed budget and time frame. You will handle all aspects of employee management such as probation periods, absence management and performance management. This role is for 48 hours per week, starting at 18:00 PM on an any 4 days from 7 rotation. Some flexibility may be required around working. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
