Description:
This position is responsible for providing a full range of Revit MEP design and drawing production work including problem analysis, design layout and calculations on non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity. Position mandates coordination ofdrafting and designactivities related to Revit MEP and BIM data.Demonstrates expertise to exercise independent design decisions. Successfully correspond with clients or outside personnel. Administrative duties include: Provide oversight on discipline BIM work-flow Setup and direction of new BIM projects Continued development of "best practices" for BIM Research and develop BIM standards and processes QA/QC - Revit model and design layouts Oversee and/or manage model data to coordinate multiple disciplines Support duties include: Revit design modeling Oversee discipline content creation / model Troubleshoot problems at both content and model levels Integrate Revit MEP products with other applications Train Technicians/Designer/Engineers specific to their modeling qualifications Management duties include: Develop project specific implementation direction and guide project teams to ensure Revit success Lead BIM project Kick-off meetings Evaluate staffand identify areas requiring further skill development Oversee implementation of new and updated standards Oversee and/or directly collaborate and communicate within Revit MEP Group to deliver and/or manage BIM data
