NOTE THAT THIS POSTING IS FOR A POSITION WITH THE PARENT COMPANY, SOLAR INTEGRATED ROOFING CORP , THE ROLE IS HEADQUARTERED IN INDIANAPOLIS AT OUR SHARED SERVICES HQ (DOUBLES AS THE BALANCE DIVISIONAL OFFICE) . THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION. REMOTE IS NOT AN OPTION. Position Overview Manages various accounting functions including ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue and asset accounting, as well as associated analysis and reporting. Evaluates and makes improvements to accounting processes while ensuring that practices comply with organization accounting policies and applicable laws and regulations. Leads and directs accounting professional and support staff, including subordinate supervisors. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Managerial Responsibilities: Staffing, Training-Knowledge, Evaluation, Supervision, Process-Policies Required Skills/Abilities: Account Reconciliation, Accounting Management, Asset Accounting, Asset Management, Balance Sheet Analysis, Bank Reconciliation, Expense Management, Financial Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, Project Management, Revenue Recognition, GAAP Standards, Accounting Software Required Education/Experience: BA Degree 5+ years related experience 1-3 years supervisory experience - Preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Preferred Physical and Mental Demands: The physical and mental demands of this position are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Must be able to effectively communicate with teammates.
