We are currently recruiting a Sous Chef to join our team working at Trinity University, LS18 5HD. Whats in it for you: - We are offering a hourly rate of GBP 14.23- This role is full time, predominantly Monday to Friday, Great work life Balance- Free meals on shift- discounted parking- Discounted Gym membership A day in the life of a Sous Chef: - Take a leading role in food preparation and event service for each event- Follow recipes and presentation specifications, with scope of enhancing products where suitable- Adhere to all health and food safety standards- Support head chef in delivering required standard of food- Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef and management- Produce food preparation lists, and be able to order accordingly working to a Cost of Sale- Be able to organise workload split between kitchen and admin tasks- Adhere to daily kitchen due diligence paperwork- Bake a number of Delicious cakes youll be all set up for success if you have: - Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role- Self: motivation and a passion for hospitality and cooking- Effective time management of busy kitchen section. - High standard of food preparation. - A great attention to detail. - Enthusiastic and excellent team player About Aramark Northern Europe : Our Mission Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
