We are currently seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist Advisor to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA). How You’ll Help Us: As a Quality Assurance Software Specialist, you will use your wide array of knowledge to provide support to our clients. If you are passionate about testing, technology and are solution driven, you will be a great fit for our team. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with a talented project team and our clients to design, build and evolve their business. Why the Role is Important: You will be responsible for making sure we deliver what we promise when we promise it. Our clients need to know they can trust the products and services NTT DATA delivers and you will maintain our reputation for reliability. At the same time, we will make sure to equip you with the skills and resources you need to exceed expectations in our projects. Once you are here, you will: Develop test cases, test strategies, test plans, and execution of tests through out the various testing life cycle; including hands-on experience reviewing test documentation and test results and quickly identifying and troubleshooting issues. Coordinate Defect/Issue Resolution among other teams so that defects are resolved and reported to management on a recurring basis. Review test cases and support the creation of test scripts. Manage project workloads, schedules, scope, and deadlines to eliminate constraints and ensure that customer needs and project metrics are met. Provide timely periodic status reporting Works with management to establish application testing goals, strategies, and plans.
