Location Eleonore Mine Site (fly-in, fly-out from Montreal, Chibougamau, Matagami, Rouyn-Noranda, Val D'Or and Wemindji) About the role The Site water leader is part of the Technical Services team and reports to the Department Manager. He/she supports and advises the operational teams in activities related to water management. He/she facilitates the sharing of information between functions to improve water-related decision-making, and is responsible for providing planning guidance on water-related issues. Essential Duties He/she is responsible for leading the site's water management committee and ensuring that it effectively implements strategic initiatives and operational activities related to water management at the site. He/she must ensure that there is effective cooperation, information sharing and collaboration between the various representatives of the site water management team. He/she develops strategies to mitigate water-related risks and achieve water maturity targets through backssments and cross-functional working. He/she acts as water expert to support the whole site. He/she maintains water management governance, water-related RACIs and ensures accessibility. He/she maintains the site water risk register and implements appropriate response plans.
