Site Engineer : Freelance Role : Winchester. We are working with a client who are in need of the services of an experienced Setting out/Site Engineer on a new project in Winchester. The scheme is GBP20 million development to remodel the internals of an existing building including extensive internal demolition before setting out new walls, partitions, service runs, staircases etc as well as preparing the external areas for a smaller extension : steel framed building, cladding and full fit out. You will be responsible for initial surveys to establish grids and points before setting out for the new internal and external works then checking, supervising and managing the subcontract trades work on site to establish accuracy, compliance and quality including all the relevant QA and documentation. The contractor are a Tier 1 contractor so CSCS is essential and SMSTS, First Aid would be a massive advantage. The role is inside scope so can be PAYE or Umbrella and they looking to interview now and start on site mid March for 3 months initially. Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
