Position Overview: As a Freelance Site Agent, you will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating all aspects of our civils project in Southampton. You will be responsible for ensuring the projects successful execution, compliance with regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements. Your leadership, construction expertise, and organizational skills will be critical in achieving project objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead the day: to: day on: site operations, overseeing construction activities, subcontractors, and site personnel. Ensure that all work is carried out safely, in compliance with health and safety regulations, and in accordance with company policies. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and strategies to meet project goals and deadlines. Monitor and report on project progress, budgetary concerns, and resource allocation. Collaborate closely with project management, engineers, and stakeholders to maintain effective communication and coordination. Implement and enforce quality control measures to achieve high construction standards. Manage site documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, and material tracking. Resolve issues, conflicts, and unforeseen challenges that may arise during the project. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and address concerns promptly.
