Service Layer / Water Mains Layer Basic salary up to £38,000 / 42.5hr working week / Van & fuel card / 33 days holiday With over 30 years of experience in the heating & water industry, we are proud & dedicated to be trusted experts for all water, heating and plumbing needs. we provide professional and reliable home emergency support across the South East for a range of clients from private homeowners, landlords, housing associations and claims management providers. Due to company growth, we are now seeking new and experienced service layers to join our team Key Responsibilities: Relaying of water supplies and internal pipework, whether using moling equipment or via ground excavation work Temporary and permanent reinstating of both hard and soft dig ground Water meter replacements Temporary and permanent disconnections of water supplies Carry out repair work on existing underground water supply pipes of various types. Pressure testing for leaks and soundness investigations work with appropriate equipment. Tracing of underground supply pipework and additional utilities using CAT & GENNY equipment. Locate, excavate, and repair leaks with subsequent reinstatement out all work to the highest standards in compliance with all relevant Acts & Regulations. Field based - Customer facing position Essential Qualifications / Experience: Full Driver’s Licence3 + years relevant industry experience Street Works qualification CAT & GENNY experience within date ticket National Water Hygiene/EUSRWater Regulations Benefits Package: Basic salary: £32,000 - £38,000 on experience Working hour week: 42.5hr working week 8am – 5.30pm Overtime rates On call rota Van + Fuel Card Holiday days: 25 + 8 Bank.
