With a team of skilled individuals working alongside with over 70 family physicians, specialists, and allied health providers, our goal is to get our patients healthy, quickly and safely. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Service Coordinator who has the passion to deliver the best possible care to our patients. A great opportunity to enter into the healthcare field and work with a leading medical group. Summary : The Service Coordinator will participate in delivering services and outreach activities. This is a permanent full-time position (4-5 days a week including evenings and weekends). Location : Markham (610 Alden Rd, Markham, ON L3R 9Z1) Responsibilities : Provide virtual administrative support to physicians, pharmacies and allied health professionals Directs telemedicine requests to our providers in an appropriate and efficient manner Provides support to telemedicine clinics, by interacting with physicians, patients, and pharmacies and tracks metrics. Administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to: registering patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, following up on consults and test results, obtaining required documentation Obtains key demographic and health related information and registering this information accurately and efficiently into the EMR Provides assistance to doctors and allied health providers Supports management and perform administrative tasks for service delivery Performs outreach calls to provide information on telemedicine services, generate leads, and schedules appointments with account managers.
