Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Full -Time Server Supervisor for our Sawbucks Pub located in South Surrey, BC. We operate three food and shop stores (including one with a fashion and hardware department), twenty-nine Angry Otter liquor stores, two feed mills, two bulk petroleum facilities, the Angry Otter Tap & Forno and Brewery in North Vancouver, the Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford, the Sawbucks pub in South Surrey and twenty-five gas station/convenience stores. What you’ll do: Reporting to the Bar Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following: Lead the team when there is no manager on duty. Count daily cash occasionally. Assist with cash duties, inventory and dishes as needed. Being the team member in charge of assisting with guest and vendor issues. Provide conflict resolution and support to both the guests and team when required. Ensure all discounts and promos are authorizes and approved. Communicate with the managers on shift events and flow of the team members. Take ownership to ensure the pub remains neat and tidy Ability to work the bar and serve to understand the entire floor operation. Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned.
