The Company My client, a Chartered Town Planning Consultancy who specialise in Development and Site Appraisals, Planning Applications, Planning Appeals, Heritage, Strategic Land Promotion, Architecture and Bespoke House Builds, is looking for an ambitious Senior Town Planner to join the team. They have been established since 2011 and comprise of talented Planning professionals who have many years of practical experience within both the public and private sector. The successful candidate will have an interest in assisting a diverse range of planning matters from major mixed: use schemes to enforcement matters and will demonstrate the willingness to learn the commercial aspects of the role. The Position as a Senior Town Planner The position as a Senior Town Planner is for a proactive individual. The successful candidate will have a full or licentiate membership with the RTPI, and relevant consultancy experience. As a Town Planner, you will be meaningfully involved in assisting the Directors of the practice in preparing planning applications, appeals, appraisals, and representations to development plan documents Essential Criteria for the candidate as a Senior Town Planner RTPI accredited town planning degree or relevant. Previous relevant experience. A member of the RTPI (although the practice would support the right candidate in achieving this). Have good communication and an enthusiastic mentality.
