New Opportunity For a Senior Social Worker The London Borough of Barnet are looking for a new Senior Social Worker to work within a realistic framework, who responds at a higher level in complex situations to the needs of children and their families in a timely manner. Benefits Pay rates up to £37 per hour. Progression opportunities. Supportive team and management. Flexible working potentially available. Responsibilities Hold and effectively manage a complex and varied caseload with appropriate supervision, guidance, and support, reflecting the function of the team and the Vulnerable People Service in accordance with policy, procedures, guidance and legislation. You will be accountable for complex decision making in relation to caseloads ensuring professional judgement, service user involvement, needs led backssment, critical reflection, and analysis to inform this. You will identify and backss levels of risk and need in often complex situations. Undertake safeguarding investigations and deliver protective and/or supportive services for individuals at risk and maintain up to date backssments, care plans and reviews. Please note that our client requires the following: Social Work England registration, Eligible to work in the UK, 2 years+ post-qualified experience, Degree level or equivalent in Social Work.
