PTC Creo, Pro Engineer, Pro E, Pro E, Mechanical CADMy client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their high Engineering Mechanical Design team in Gloucester. Key skills and responsibilities: Mechanical CAD design, quality control use of tolerance, inspection, engineering product file structure, setting up of a project BDR, creating test and inspection reports. Read, understand and generate technical instructions, material lists, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic diagrams. Ability to read and interpret basic instructions for the assembly of materials, technical specifications, testing equipment, part numbers, and write capping and crushing targets. Recording and filing test reports, creating BOMs, ECNs, Requests for Engineering Action REA, maintaining existing product line and mechanical drafting standards. Design calculations burst, collapse & tensile etc. types and uses of threads and pressure seals, material selection and properties, hydraulic principles, and manufacturing processes.
